Terms of Use

Welcome to the Adria Taxi website.

By using this website and booking our services, you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

General provisions

ADRIA TAXI provides taxi transport, private transfers, and passenger transport services in the Republic of Croatia and abroad.

By using the website, the user confirms that they:

  • are at least 18 years of age;
  • provide accurate and complete information;
  • accept these Terms of Use;
  • use the services in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia.

Bookings

Bookings can be made via:

  • the website;
  • email;
  • phone;
  • contact form;
  • social networks or other communication channels.

The user is responsible for the accuracy of the information entered:

  • date and time of transport;
  • pick-up location;
  • destination;
  • number of passengers;
  • amount of luggage;
  • contact details;
  • flight or arrival information when airport transfers are involved.

Incorrect or incomplete information may cause delays or make it impossible to perform the service.

Booking confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed after:

  • written confirmation by email or message;
  • telephone confirmation;
  • or confirmation of the booking by ADRIA TAXI.

ADRIA TAXI reserves the right to refuse a booking without further explanation.

Prices and payment

All prices are expressed in euros (EUR), unless otherwise stated.

The service price includes:

  • vehicle;
  • driver;
  • fuel;
  • standard amount of luggage.

Additional services may be charged separately:

  • waiting time;
  • additional stops;
  • night driving;
  • extra luggage;
  • child seats;
  • special user requests;
  • additional waiting time at the airport or other locations.

Payment may be made by:

  • cash;
  • bank card;
  • bank transfer;
  • online payment (if available).

Airport transfers and arrival time

The passenger is responsible for arriving at the pick-up location on time and allowing sufficient time to reach the airport, port, or other destination.

For international flights, we recommend arriving at the airport at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time, or according to the airline’s rules.

For domestic flights, we recommend arriving at least 90 minutes before departure.

The final decision on departure time is made by the user.

ADRIA TAXI is not responsible for:

  • missed flights;
  • delays caused by traffic;
  • security checks;
  • border congestion;
  • road works;
  • severe weather;
  • changes to flight schedules;
  • flight delays;
  • other circumstances beyond the carrier’s reasonable control.

When booking, the user must provide accurate flight details and planned departure time.

Cancellation of booking

The user may cancel a booking by contacting ADRIA TAXI by email or phone.

ADRIA TAXI reserves the right to charge costs in the case of:

  • late cancellation;
  • customer no-show;
  • incorrect booking details.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure, ADRIA TAXI may cancel or modify a booking without liability for additional costs to the user.

Delays during transfer

ADRIA TAXI is not liable for delays caused by:

  • traffic congestion;
  • severe weather;
  • accidents;
  • road closures;
  • flight, ferry, or other transport delays;
  • police checks;
  • border procedures;
  • other circumstances beyond our control.

Drivers will make all reasonable efforts to complete the transport on time.

Luggage

Each passenger is entitled to a standard amount of luggage:

  • one suitcase;
  • one hand bag.

Additional or special luggage must be reported in advance.

ADRIA TAXI is not responsible for:

  • lost items;
  • damaged luggage;
  • valuables left in the vehicle.

The user must check personal belongings and luggage before leaving the vehicle.

Passenger conduct

The following is not permitted in vehicles:

  • smoking;
  • consumption of alcohol;
  • use of intoxicating substances;
  • aggressive or inappropriate behaviour;
  • damage to the vehicle.

The driver may refuse transport or stop the journey if passenger behaviour endangers the safety of the driver, the vehicle, or other road users.

The user is liable for any damage caused by intentional or negligent behaviour.

Children and minors

Children must be accompanied by an adult, unless otherwise agreed.

Child seats are available on request and must be booked in advance.

ADRIA TAXI is not responsible for being unable to provide a child seat if the request was not submitted in good time.

Personal data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and the Privacy Policy available on this website.

By using the service, the user agrees to the processing of data necessary to perform the transport service.

Intellectual property

All content on the website:

  • texts;
  • photographs;
  • logos;
  • design;
  • graphics;
  • video content

is the property of ADRIA TAXI and may not be copied, distributed, or used without written permission.

Changes to terms

ADRIA TAXI reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time.

All changes will be published on this page and take effect on the date of publication.

Applicable law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia.

For all disputes, the court with subject-matter jurisdiction in Split shall have jurisdiction.
